2月3日，爱德思考试局发布了一则关于取消IGCSE、AS/A Level考试的重要通知。针对这一情况，请各位家长无需过于担心，学校早已对此做出了相关布局。以下就是学术校长Daniel对通知给以的解释和据此提出的应对方案：

During the continued global health crisis, the Summer external examinations conducted by PEARSON has been cancelled. The grades awarded will mainly come from teacher assessed grades based on the examination board rubrics. As this year students can do the October 2021 examinations if they feel the examination grades awarded in the Summer do not reflect their true ability. This year most of the students who did the October 2020 examination gained grades mostly similar to those awarded in the Summer 2020 teacher assessed grades.

受疫情的持续影响，PEARSON取消了夏季考试。学生的成绩主要来自教师根据考试委员会规则评定的成绩。如果学生认为夏季评定的考试成绩不能反映他们的真实水平，学生也可以参加2021年10月的考试。而根据去年我们的经验，大多数参加2020年10月考试的学生的成绩与2020年夏季老师给的成绩相似。

All the teacher assessed grades will be based on the continuous assessment over the course of each individual examination. Therefore, it is important that all students complete the content of each course and attendance becomes of the utmost importance. 此外，牛津公学是英国国家考试局Edexcel官方考试中心(Centre Number:92998)，学校多位老师学校多位老师也是经过几大考试局严格认证的考试专家和资深判卷官，如Paul、Daniel、Dorothy、Mohammad、Lulu、June、Mattrew、Linda等，因此学校对考试政策和考试情况都有比较充分的了解。
