　　7月10日，深圳查特豪斯书院首个校园开放日拉开帷幕，家庭走进查特豪斯校园，穿越时光隧道，触摸四百余年历史;学生用三节体验课的时间，以课堂为基础，师生互动，了解查特豪斯求知、创新、启迪的教育理念;家长走进体验课课堂和实地探访校园，感受查特豪斯的教学和学校环境。

　　Inheriting more than 400 years of British education, the history of the school developing with the times, and the rigorous and wonderful Charterhouse class, what is it like?

　　On July 10th, Charterhouse College Shenzhen had its first Open Day. Families walked into the campus and explored the history. The three demo classes for students demonstrated our unique Study, Create, Inspire educational principle at work. Parents observed the demo classes and saw our campus and facilities.

　　On the day of the event, anticipation and joy enveloped the campus. Let's review the wonderful moments of the event together!

　　四百余年的时间里，查特豪斯发生了很多有意思的故事，比如：

　　■ 查特豪斯最初的学生需要由国王、女王或威尔士亲王等主管人员提名方可被录取

　　■ 查特豪斯是现代足球的主要引领者之一，第一个使用‘足球’一词的人就是查特豪斯的旧生

　　■ 1881年查特豪斯的学生曾夺得英格兰足总杯冠军

　　■ 在上世纪70年代查特豪斯开始接收女生入学，并持续推动学校现代化建设

　　Charterhouse History

　　Over the past 400 years, there have been many interesting stories about Charterhouse:

　　■ The original Charterhouse students had to be nominated by a king, queen or prince of Wales to be admitted.

　　■ Charterhouse is one of the main pioneers of modern football. The first person to use the word "football" is Charterhouse's former students.

　　■ Charterhouse students won the FA Cup in 1881.

　　■Charterhouse began admitting female student in the 1970s and has continued to modernize the school.

　　艺术理解课：Duncan校长带着同学们进入艺术世界，一边欣赏艺术作品，一边学习英语。

　　汉语人文课：王鲁校长教授的汉语人文课从一个有趣的寓言故事展开。

　　科技创新课：数字化学习主管何冠男老师教授的科技创新课，运用ipad和大疆产品为大家带来一场关于编程的头脑风暴。

　　Demo Class

　　Art Interpretation class was taught by Duncan, who took his students into the art world and learnt English while enjoying the works of art.

　　Philosophy class was taught by Wang Lu, and the class began with an interesting fable.

　　Technology class was taught by Mr. Guannan He, director of digital learning. He used ipad and DJI products to bring a brainstorm about programming to everyone.

　　Our school design builds upon contemporary thinking about learning spaces. Our campuses are planned with flexibility and flow built into them, with a mix of spaces following the theory of the four archetypal learning places: the campfire, village well, cave, and mountain top, as developed by David Thornburg.
